City Gym is a popular Brookside facility featuring high end equipment. This gym is anything by typical. Members of City Gym consider it to be more than just a place to work out, but also a friendly community where people belong. The staff is service driven and customer focused. With great qualifications, the staff is always close by to lend a customer a helping hand or motivational guidance. If you want to get off campus, but do not want to travel to far, City Gym is the place to join. 

The Cleaver YMCA provides quality programs striving for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility at an affordable price. This facility includes an indoor pool, outdoor spray park, basketball court, cardio/strength training equipment, group exercise classes, wellness coaching, not to mention Child Watch. Also available are personal training, art,  martial arts, and much more. If you're interested in more information, please contact the Welcome Center and we will give you a tour and provide you with a free 3-day pass. 

 

Classes are free to all members and include: pilates, zumba, yoga, and boxing. Gym KC will help you take charge of your life and start 2015 off with a bang. This facility will encourage you to go the distance and keep you on the right track towards achieving your goals by providing you with the equipment necessary to make your nutritional dreams a reality. Cardio machines, free weights, and fitness classes are some of the various incentives in becoming a member at Gym KC. Anytime Fitness works with your on-the-go lifestyle. Whether  day or night, Antime Fitness is always open. Each member receivesa key that grants full access to cutting-edge strength training and cardio equipment. Anytime Fitness inlcudes private restrooms with showers that offer convenience for those who fit in a quick workout before work or an evening event. Anytime fitness is about a 25 minute drive from campus, but well-worth the investment.

Our resident gym expert, Josh, designed a simple How-To, step-by-step guide for any beginner wanting to start lifting weights. A leg squat is a great lift to develop leg muscle and get your feet wet in the weight room.
